Duxberry Park Elementary provides exemplary education through the arts IMPACT (Interdisciplinary Model Program in the Arts for Children and Teachers) process. Arts IMPACT enriches and reinforces learning in academics and the arts, fosters creativity and problem-solving, and exposes students to our diverse global community.
Our Mission

What Makes Duxberry Park Outstanding

Duxberry Park is the city-wide, 100% Lottery Elementary School where the arts are infused deeply into the basic academic curriculum. Duxberry has an arts team composed of certified teachers in visual art, music, dance, and drama. We have a wooden dance floor, well-equipped rooms for all arts classes, and a stage with computer board theater lighting. We have Chrome Books for student classroom use, Smart Boards, computer projectors, and ELMOs in all classrooms. We collaborate and expose our student population to varied art forms through our connections with the Greater Columbus Arts Council Artist in the Schools, auditions, annual Duxberry Arts Festival, projects with BalletMet, Jazz Arts Group, Columbus Children's Theatre, and collaborations with AIMS and Ft. Hayes staff and students.

At Duxberry, all students will perform at or above grade level on our arts infused coursework using STEM thinking methods.
